The bookies don't get the results of sporting tables wrong too often (Leicester !). They're really only interested in the likely winners from a group.
Clearly, below Toronto and Widnes, they're not that interested. It's a guesstimate from position 3 down of the likelihood of winning the league - not of likely finishing positions.
FWIW, I don't think they've got the odds that wrong. How many people will back York at 20/1 ? Not many, I'd reckon, while Bradford would attract a fair amount of cash if they were priced at 20/1. Therefore their odds need to be shorter, even though the bookies probably don't give Bulls much more chance of promotion than York. The poor betting industry has to try to eke out a living, after all !

There may be some serious mind games going on TBH, had to play hardball but hopefully Leigh may not come out of this as bad as it may seem

The trouble with that is you're talking to Bradford fans. We've seen plenty of false dawns over the past few years. So as bad as it is for Leigh, I wouldn't get your hopes up over any green shoots of recovery just yet.

Only 2 I see there that offer any real value are Toronto and Toulouse. It would be no surprise to see those two in the final and I would think Toulouse would be a touch shorter than that in a one off game and Toronto would be a shorter price to win that 1 off game. Rest of the prices are just for show although if they want to price Leigh at that price I wouldnt mind finding out what odds they would give for them to be relegated because that could offer some real value.

Did they actually go into administration formally last week? The RFL obviously tightened the rules & points penalties for that after our messes.

Yes, but we're their favourites so only we get those deductions...Others need to try harder without their help.

Should be more like "25 squared"-1

Odds are crazy. But then you can get us at 500/1 to win the Challenge Cup and at 250/1 just to reach the final that at least is doable if remote, because you just never know with the draw.

Wonder what the odds will be for us playing in back to back Finals at Wembley?

Feel free to throw a wedge on Leigh getting relegated - very brave or rich man if you do

No they didnt,rl put them in special measures why they was trying to sort out a compensation with 2 players that were on full time contracts (because the club was going part time)so they wasn't allowed to sign anyone till that was sorted, once that was agreed they could start putting a squad together which surprisingly to us Leigh fans is going to be a lot better than most of us thought it was going to be
