Can we get back onto the topic of FC's ins and outs please, this is not the place to discuss Kelly's fitness

I based my comment on a photograph which definitely looked obese.
Not surprised you have to respond by referring to our players in that way. Smacks of my dad is bigger than your dad. Still if it makes you feel better.
mines fact, now can we keep on topic please, thank you, I still think we might see another player go? gut feeling , Already looking forward to the new season. COYH

Players are out there, shame we haven't done any decent business to improve our 17.
Hope I'm wrong, but I don't see us challenging the top 5 next year.
We are restricted by the contracts to current players, but we have a load of cap coming free at the end of 2019 so would expect players of a similar stature to be getting approached by us for 2020

I'm guessing that we don't have a marquee signing for 2019. I think that this shows a slight lack of ambition given the current situation with our squad and salary cap.
Let's face, Leeds now have 2 marquee signings after their announcement today.
THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY DON'T THE DOBBINS PLAY IN GREEN SHIRT, GREEN SHORTS AND GREEN SOCKS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS THEIR INFINITE ENVY OF EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE??

I'd have thought Kelly won't be far off being one - Leeds can probably afford 2 marquee signings because they're rebuilding from a much lower salary base.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I agree that Saints, Wire and Leeds all look like strong top 3 contenders. Cats, Wigan, Hudds and Cas will all be strong next season as well.
I'm concerned for the coming season because after a few seasons of fantastic recruitment, we've done virtually nothing. We're standing still in squad quality terms and, as we all know, standing still while all around us strengthen is actually going backwards in real terms.
It's not exactly doom and gloom but I see a very uneventful mid-table season which ends, in effect, the day that we're knocked out of the Challenge Cup.

the fc sentimentality once again full swing! i fear it will be our downfall again this coming season and for the first time in a few years, not looking forward to it as i think we will struggle to get anywhere near top 5, it seems that the club/coaches/owner owe those that helped us have great seasons in 2016/17 with extended deals when most of us fear its a season too far for some.
the likes of wigan and saints know when their players are done and not needed, we need to do the same!
