Looks like the same shambles as last year. We have 2 quota spots and plenty of cap space you would think yet no deals done it would appear. It appears we are in bidding wars which we lost all of last year. If we end up with nothing and have passed on Abdul then that will look a bit dumb. Underwhelming so far. We look very thin at 1,6,7 and 9. Isn't Blair off contract as of now?
And who is to say we have not signed 3 quality players but not announced yet, has Neil hudgell said he gets 5/10 players offered to him daily most want just a year contract. And he states we don't want to go down just a year deal for pivotal position ie halves.. he wants quality for a few seasons to replace Maguire when he retires end of season.. I don't know if we have signed anyone but its a perfect time to do media silence to remember the fallen.. then come out with we have signed a halve and a powerful PNG player would be great.. but Kr do due diligence they make sure they have a visa before announcing.. but I reckon we will see the best of Vai Vai next season.. give him full pre season. And to think will dagger will want to prove he can keep number 1 shirt.. then you have the likes of shaw and addy and lawler back from long lay off be like new signings there without the young kids who will want to prove they deserve a crack at first team so in reality not all doom and gloom
Maurice blairs rovers stint appears to be over,would have thought he would sign for at least another year,but has decided to go home and stay in oz. IMO has been terrific value for us and can I thank him for his efforts over the last 4 years.

Very good player but coming to the end of is career let’s hope we get one has good or better and younger
