Other factors are that the ‘infrastructure’ of the board is now very old and doesnt work well on modern tablets and phones. Ive logged in on my Ipad and Android phone and you get issues on both formats.

Also RL in general feels in a rut, crowds are down at most teams, international tickets arent flying out the door. I hope this latest fomat change at least stops the rot and the game can build again.

Agree, but the I suppose you have to make it attractive for those stop gap/cover type players to want to come too. A bit of security for them and their families etc, whereas you'd not get that with a 'prove yourself' one year offer.

Looks like Leeds are looking to release players under contract including Garbutt and Cuthbertson. Shame we haven't got a quota place as Garbutt is the kind of big aggressive prop we need.
