Out of NL1 next season. Actually I think it’s possibly a good thing for London RL as a whole, if they play in the Emerging Southern league I imagine they would then come back down to Hemel and hopefully start using more local players! At least it provides another stepping stone for talent to get into the pro game which was taken away when they tried to compete in NL1.
For broncos youth, you need clubs like this developing local players.

It is always sad to see clubs such as Hemel in such a situation. I have to say that as I understand it, the club has become somewhat detached from the locals, which cannot be a good thing.

It opens things up nicely for New York Rugby League to enter Championship One.

Agree with you bosty, Hemel in effect moving lock stock and barrel up north was a bit of a snub to the community game back in Hemel and think it put a few people off.
This proposed southern league will hopefully make them competitive, and they can build back up too NL if they want that.

Has anyone seen nor heard of the Huddersfield Gym Teacher of late? Given eh short sharp "thanks but no thanks" that Denver gave the international game and the subsequent 3rd year of investment as well a more free flights for away sides and free tickets for beer garden activities in Toronto, I suspect investors in "gridiron lite" may be hard for the pseudo publishing magnet to find

Such a shame that Hemel had to go north in the first place. They are an anomaly in that they ow their ground.....it would be good if London Broncos could take a few "live" training sessions up there in the pre-season......

Only if they want pre season training in a mud bath! It is very wet ground and cuts up very easy.
As for having to go up north! They didn’t have to, they chose too.
