What a silly statement, Amor is a quality player. He no longer fits st Saints but that doesn’t mean he’s rubbish. The lad needs a change that’s all, I’d take him at Wakefield.
Most of our team was written off but they seem ok now, in fact ones pushed his way into the England team.

Young player development at Hull is a major concern. Which players would be in our first choice 17 who have come through the ranks at the club? shaul and houghton with maybe hadley at a push. None of the current crop look to be likely to turn into top notch SL players to me and the number of players who were going to be the next best thing who have never got anywhere near achieving their potential is ridiculous. You can blame individual players to an extent but the fact is that we are a long, long way behind the best at bringing through our own talent. You can blame the lack of reserve team rugby but that's the same for everyone.
Without looking too closely, I suspect Hull probably have the fewest genuine home grown players in their first choice 13 out of any club in SL.
