If he’s got a decent real world job, maybe he’s had other offers but they’ve not been worth his while. Binning off a steady job, plus part-time RL money for a one- or two-year full-time deal, initially on the fringes of a SL squad, could be a bit of a gamble. Maybe Hull were just willing to stretch a little further to make the gamble seem worthwhile.
