Well the, after a weekend of surprising results, we have pretty much our destiny in our own hands.

I don't see either Leeds nor HKR slipping up at home, but regardless of those results

We beat Halifax by 11 points and Toulouse lose, we're in the MPG
We beat Halifax by 28 points and Toulouse & Toronto lose we host the MPG
We lose to Halifax and we'll miss out unless Toulouse lose by 11 more points than we do.

FWIW, I see Leeds winning by 20 points +, Salford by 20+, us by 15+ and HKR by 30+ meaning that we will host Toronto

Leeds 12 & +140
Salford 10 & +129
HKR 10 & +35
London 8 & +5
Toronto 8 & -3
Toulouse 6 & -20

If the first 3 games go as I have predicted, then HKR only need a point to be safe....but if they were to lose then London would go up in 3rd spot

and to think......I thought the 8's were stupid idea

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Your predictions last week were off though call! Bet the Toulouse result surprised you!
Hope you are right with Leeds score, sadly I doubt it, they are still not that good, reckon a win but they may just scrape it. Let’s hope they have not put the cue on the rack as they are safe!
Toulouse and salford! With Hastings back salford are a different team, think that game will depend who starts best, Toulouse would not get away with going so far behind like against KR away at salford.
As for KR Widnes! Widnes players got no pressure on them, KR know they have to get a point, depends how they cope with it.
For me
Leeds win
London win!
Widnes win!
Salford Toulouse can’t call

Although I prefer your prediction

I think Tolouse will win, but by < 10 points.
Leeds will draw with Toronto making sure both get promoted (you saw this here first)
This means we will need to beat Fax by probably 25 points :)... I think possible
KR will win, as RFL won't want KR in 6th.

I see Salford v London MPG, with the Toronto / Leeds fix in play.

It would be very amusing at the RFL if after scrapping the 8's, 3 SL sides got relegated to championship, but I can't see it.

But if Tolouse beat Salford, I will be at bookies with a tenner on Leeds / Toronto draw

Now now crashmon you not suggesting leeds would do that are you?
Teams don’t do that. I suggested it when Toronto lost to Fev consigning ending Leigh’s hopes of top 4 got shot down.
It’s a real shame the 8s have been scrapped looking at what has happened this season., it’s going to be interesting next weekend.

I thought it was a really good concept, sadly the top flight comp did not really work, one round of games left that mean absolutely nothing apart from form.

I think London will win by 50!! We will give to Fax. Marshall is playing weakened sides in preparation for next year

Mac out!

I personally think both Toulouse and Toronto will lose. Leeds still need 1 point to be totally safe and sinfield has said he wants them to finish on a high. Salford have Harrison back, so they will be a different team, they we were clueless against Us!

I think we will beat Halifax comfortably- so relying on CMG’e cellent analysis I think that puts us at home for the million pound game. I assume Toronto will stay over here, so jet lag will not be an issue, which means on the Sunday it’s a shoot out which we should/must wil. The team have done some tremendous work in the 8’s, particularly in keeping the scores down so our points difference is helping. Would be a tragedy to blow it at the very end!
