As I understand it, the RSG, fantastic as it is at what it does, doesn’t have the right legal standing to take ownership.
What they do have is excellent brand recognition, which the supporter’s trust struggled to replicate. Working together they could draw the fan base together. However, pulling a lot of people together initially can be easier than keeping them heading in the same direction.
It’s a worry for another day, but irrespective of survival or relegation in 2018, it is a day that might well come in the next few years.

As points diff(for /against)could be crucial, either I,m losing it(very possible) or Sky are useless.. Their league table has us on minus 13 and TWP on plus 17...a difference of 30 points against us...just done an add up...think I,m right that we are on plus 5..a difference of 12...30 would possibly be a killer. Anyone else been sad like me and done an add up? PS. see Leeds did what they had to...hope they turn up next week against TWP

Yeah, the BBC have the same mistake. They’ve added an extra 18 to our points against in error. They’re also reporting that Leeds have secured their place in SL which is technically inaccurate.
Edit, they’ve fixed the latter to ‘all but secured’.

The points shipped against Halifax look very costly now?Ok,in game Injuries were a factor but we got well clear then fell off.Similar pattern in all our wins and that's got to be down to attitude and fitness and it came home to roost in Toulose. The players taking the pitch should have had enough to get the job done but showed a soft underbelly that goes back to Morgan leaving. Yes it's been a long hard season and we have had more injuries and lost a full back division Add in being newly promoted and this crazy middle8 roller coaster and mitigating circumstances abound but we should be sat at least plus 30 on points diff and put the French away. The Salford non performance was balanced somewhat by sneaking win at Leeds. All should be well with a thumping win v Widnes.Signing Hauraki may be our trump card as he won't want to send next year's employer down the gurgler?

A nervous week ahead that's for sure, either way I'll be there next season supporting the only club I've ever loved. Hopefully the club can make the changes needed and not just churn out useless politician speak JP and Smith seem to be good at. I also hope the powers that be come out and apologise to the fans Monday morning...

We have to work on the belief that TWP will beat Leeds, and I suspect they will, for reasons already stated. That leaves one clear option to save our season without going into a probable nightmare MPG with half our team missing, and that is to beat a Widnes team who have no pressure and could sting us, by as big a score as possible and overturn a likely points difference. Are this lot capable without cocking it up again, we will soon find out, but I am not confident anymore. They choked big style when it really mattered and spoilt some previous good results. Yes, we have injuries, but 19 nil up! no excuses. Defence is shocking. I have seen some horrendous collapses over the years, but this is one of the worst. I will calm down eventually, but for now I am so fed up with the lot of them. We are not dead yet, but the fat lady is clearing her throat. Time this team got it,s act together and shut her up. Come on Rovers, for all our sakes, turn up on Sunday and do what,s necessary.
After watching the highlights I'm not surprised the team were apparently booed at the end of the game. Some of the defence leading up to their try's was shocking, I've seen school kids with better tackling technique, the effort just didn't look evident, and why the hell does Sheens insist on playing our best halfback at fullback.? If anyone should have gone there it should have been Carney, though personally I wouldn't play him at all. I've not seen him do anything as yet to justify his place in the team. http://www.to13.com/actualites/to-xiii- ... ume-video/

Sheens signings this year in general have been bang average and to top it all our last signing is todd carney as our saviour,no wonder we are in trouble.
If Leeds lose against Toronto we could end up with the top 4 all on 10 points.
Salford at home to Toulouse isn't quite a must win but they could end up in the MPG otherwise.
Leeds are safe unless Toronto hammer them by 60 or something which is highly doubtful. Are they willing to risk youngsters for that game?
Salford might end up in the MPG if they lose however Hastings is back.
We lose against Widnes by any margin and we could still be auto relegated.
Someone said something to me yesterday that is interesting. With only one promotion spot, would Widnes want us in the Championship with them next season?

I don,t expect Widnes to simply lie down, they will come to fight and win. Also don,t think they will be too bothered about us going down either, because if we do, who knows what team we would have left. The stuffing would be knocked out of us initially and no guarantees that whatever team we have left would be good enough to get us up again. However, we all have our views, mine is that Salford will beat Toulouse and be safe. That leaves one automatic place left. Not sure about Leeds, but think they are safe regardless, and that could go either way, but TWP will be mega fired up, I would be. London will beat Halifax by a good score and be in the MPG, and we will either go up automatically or play London in the MPG(gulp) Home or away will depend on points diff. At the moment we have 15 points on them, but expect them to rack up some points against Halifax and probably claw them back. Best result for us, Leeds win, we win,job done. If TWP win, we have to win and better their total points difference,at the moment we are down by 12 plus any more they gain by a possible win, that would take some doing, but would also be job done. Anything else probable MPG. If Toulouse win, who knows. Be a kick in the guts if we go down again finishing 10th. Hate these stupid qualifiers.
