Oh and it was another needless sending off for us that are becoming a bit of a joke tbh.
All tackles should be as 'hard', as the laws of the game permit. The only problem with this tackle was that it was on TV, and as I have said, on that other forum, the only reason this one was penalised was because there was an opportunity to replay it countless times. Neither of the officials on the pitch, who were both within metres of it saw anything wrong, and play would have continued had Tv replays not been available.

100% correct, if the referee doesn't ask the video ref to check then they shouldn't get involved. If we want two referee's, put them on the pitch. It's getting like a computer game!

His record stand up well against our wingers in recent years. Hopefully he can get that 20th try. He's played 25 games but obviously never made it past the 10th minute in two of them.
Others wingers in the last fifteen years or so
Lineham 26 tries in 24 games 2015 Briscoe 22 in 30 2012 Blacklock 22 in 30 2005 Briscoe 21 in 31 2011 Best 21 in 31 2003

He's gone well, a few things to work on defensively, but i appreciate we havent been on top in the forwards and he's had a few different centre partners, its not been easy defensively

Oh for sure. His positioning does look a bit, er, random at times notwithstanding injuries to Griffin, Carlos, Connor, Logan etc. Decent enough return with the ball though to say our creativity's been sub par.

One thing that stands out for me is his willingness to do the hard yards ala Tuli. It gives the forwards that little breather that they need. Overall I think he's been a great signing.

I agree Hessle Roader, as long as he doesn’t drop the ball on the first tackle return, as he did one set after the other in our 25 against Cas. But overall he’s been good in a season we’re we have been on the back foot.
