Griffin was in top form prior to his injury and many supporters were of the same opinion, probably why he was nominated. Wether you like it or not injuries have done us for this season and having to play too many kids.
I think also a few players have also been brought back earlier than they should have been after long injury lay offs due to the number of injuries such as Sneyd & Griffin plus add in to the mix Kelly & Westerman and Minichello playing through a hernia that needs an op and now at the critical stage all of these players are done for the season.
Its been a gamble that simply hasn't paid off, Griffin before his injury was one of the the form players and its clear he hasn't been right since he came back early.
