Have to agree to disagree bosty, broncos played one up Rugby which meant every tackle was 3 man tackle, meant they were getting bossed which was there own doing.
There was nothing different in that game to any other, not a lot Scott m could or should have blown for.
The push on the head and neck as players get off the tackled player I think should be stopped, but nearly every player does it, including broncos.
All in all a poor performance from broncos.

I do think the push on the tackled players head or neck by the tackler regaining there feet is largely ignored in the game, why I don’t know! It’s contact with the head and IMO should be viewed in same way as head contact in the tackle or the grapple.

Bosty lotst of us disagree with Northernbloke. I agree with you. Weak refereeing and some poor decisions. We did not play well in fact I think we skipped the first half and stayed in the dressing room but all 50/50 decisions went wolfpack way. I just do not like the wolfpack and the way they play.

Sorry guys you can’t blame the ref for any of that first half.
Watch any game, the team that are dominating tend-to get the decisions that may be 50/50, didn’t see many of those though, keep dropping the ball there is no 50/50 in it. First half one up Rugby 3 man tackle you are always losing the ruck so don’t get any penalties. In the second half we started getting a few our way! Why? Because we started winning the ruck.

Think the crowd announced of 7500 plus was interesting! Considering it’s a 9000 capacity there looked to be a lot of empty seats.

Course they are, absolutely shocking when we lose, very little mention when we win though.

It’s an argument that has been done over and over.
It’s a broncos thread, the nitial comment was weak refereeing.
It is noticeable complaining about officials has been very quiet when broncos are winning.
Refs calls are part of the game! But still say, have never once seen an official knock on, forward pass, tackle illegally, or be offside. 26 players on a park make errors and that’s ok, one bloke in the middle makes an error and the result of the game is his fault! We don’t get the elite refs, but then again we are not an elite team!

If you observed like me, the Toronto players having a go at Battye. Once when he fought back, he was penalized. How many times were TWP penalized for their dirty play? None! Plus Whiting should pick on people his own size.
Look at what a dirty player Bussey turned into when he joined TWP. As I have said previously, they are a dirty, niggly team, who's coach sets his team up to be so. He has previous for this.
