After reading Pearson's comments I for one am more excited than I have been in a long time regarding FC moving forward. It's gone from having no recruitment for next year (which has been so obvious that we need) to bringing in fresh faces. It has been so frustrating that we continue to play as if we have the biggest pack in the league whereas really this is far from the case.
Because of Radford's reluctance to play any different to battering it through the middle I feel that we really need to add some serious size to the pack. I personally don't think are backs are bad at all, they have been given no favours from our forwards and it's annoying that we have no structure, depth and set moves in attack to hit the outside.
I would love a player like Fifita to come in, as well as someone like Murdoch-Masila, however this seems too unrealistic. It is also blindingly obvious that we need a new face in the coaching team to set up attacking plays. My dream scenario would be;
Out: Paea - personally don't think he makes much impact Talanoa - free up a large amount of cap space (I assume). Miloudi was playing well for us when he slotted in, I think he could do a job on the wing Manu - I think he's been a brilliant player for us however he will be on a big salary and we could use that up for a big impact player Green - too often injured Abdul - wants to leave so let him Mini - again brilliant servant for us however doesn't offer what he used to
In: Fifita Murdoch-Masila Jones Another prop Attacking coach
It may seem a bit extreme with all the departures I've suggested however Pearson has said he's making big changes and they would free up a lot of cap space. What would your ideal action be regarding in's and out's?
yes plan a hasn't worked these last 3 years,finished top of league after regular season in 2016,4th last year and for the first time in the clubs history won successive challenge cup victories,something that very clubs have ever achieved.plan a hasn't tended to work this year with half the first team sat in the stands most of the season.we need to sign a couple of good ,big forewards and we will be fine.just my opinion mind.

Its all a matter of opinions i know and i respect yours but are you saying that contrary to Pearsons statement that there will be players moving out, you do not,and think a couple coming in will solve the problem.Those cup wins have gone,history,irrespective of all our injuries the players we have put out the last few games are obviously not up to it.There should not be any room for sentiment,if they are not bang on,move them on. Personally,i dont think the original poster was to far out with his out list,i would add washy to the outs. This is just my opinion of course.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand.We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen,heard or witnessed before.

The problem with plan B is that it would probably have centred around Sneyd, Kelly, Connor (and Westerman). Their replacements, with the best will in the world, were never going to be as effective.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
