So can Broncos keep the momentum going against Leeds. Again the key is ptb speed and control of the ruck, along with completion of sets. If the half time score is reasonably close then leeds will be the team more worried. Today’s result will be interesting, if they smash Toulouse I think it would roll on for them next week, if Toulouse make em work for it Broncos could be in a good position next week.
Tactics worked on thu, play chess the first 20/30 keep it tight keep the score low. Then make the changes and see what happens. Broncos matched Widnes in the middle, hope they can do the same next Sunday. Reality is all the pressure is on Leeds
Not interested in Toulouse really, am interested in London Broncos. My point is a closer result today would have worked better for us. Leeds have had some poor results, a closer result would have hit there confidence hard. As is they will be pretty confident next week.
But they now have their first team back from injury just in time for the play offs. Think there are only two first team players out now - Watkins wont be back but not sure about whether or not Hall will play
Interesting view Flack. Leeds in the first half were, as expected, twitchy, in the second half once they got more than one score ahead they looked much different. I think they still have a massive confidence issue, so I don’t think they will come to london thinking it’s going to be easy. Broncos need to keep it tight and try to frustrate them.
Next Sunday we will not be facing Ryan Hall. He has done his ACL and with his pending move to Sydney he has played his last game for Leeds. It is a sad way for him to finish his Rhinos career.
