Not a fan myself. Personally I think some of them are starting to look like lizards. It looks ugly and gives off the image that RL is a thugs game.

It's one of the great mysteries to me that anyone should want to permanently mark their skin in such a way. They have ADHD/ADD? Sean Long looks a mess. A good looking bloke now resembles a mess.

I can understand the cultural aspect of players from the Pacific regions like NZ, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji etc but westerners?? Nah. Body ruined for life.

Well they do make up the majority of what the sport is about 'old boy'. I mean does the football move about by itself or do 'bodies' make it move with passing and kicking? Do keep up.

Not sure what this has got to with RL? It is a society thing and you see a lot of footballers getting tattoos as well.

Personally I'm not a fan of tattoos and think they look awful and ruin the appearance of someone. However as someone has said above, it is their bodies and they can do what they want with them, it doesn't harm anyone else no matter how ugly it may appear.

Agree 100% Karen, its their choice whether they get a tattoo or not its a personal choice be it a RL Pro or a doctor etc.

I couldn't give a rats bottom if a player is tattooed from head to toe as long as they play well for my team. I don't watch RL for a clean cut image I watch it for the game itself, mind you I have to say some of the hairstyles being sported by players leaves a lot to be desired and think they need to seek professional help from a barber .

As for tattoo's and the affect it has on a sport or personality it ain't done Mr Beckham much harm or football.

So its neither a Yay or Nay from me as its personal choice by each individual.
