I just hope the Super League teams especially, assume we will be a push over and take our games against them lightly. In truth I cannot see us gaining promotion, but if we make the MPG. I will be more than happy. On the positive side, Mr Schofield says we will not do well in the competition. Bring on Widnes!
I have a feeling we will turn over 1 super league side, but end up coming just short like a couple of years ago... I just hope we do not run out of steam, as it took a huge effort from all the team to get into 2nd place.
Aim has to be still 2 games won from first 5, which then gives us 2 last games at home (both winnable) to make the MPG. I still think Leeds home is more do-able than Widnes away, but you never know.
If we beat Widnes away, I'd go farther than MPG, win at Widnes and we could make top 3.
Just think Last season we should have beaten both cats and Warrington, which would have put the game vs Widnes and Leigh in very different viewpoints, going into those games on 7 points and not 3. We just have to turn close losses into close wins
It’s interesting that Toronto are whinging a bit about having there games staggered rather than in two groups. If leeds don’t get a good start next weekend I think you are right, they may start playing panic rugby
All teams have their games staggered so I would say 'belt up TWP, you have had the easiest run in of all the championship teams. No backwards and forwards for you like the rest of the teams'. If TWP are as good they think they are and as Northernbloke says jet lag does not affect players then they can't have anything to whinge about can they.
It’s another discussion point though isn’t it? For me they should not get any special treatment with the fixtures, but for the good of expansion should they not be given assistance with some things? There argument being cost!
