38-0 at half time! If we can keep momentum going in second half, then second is on! Now wish I had travelled, but from Portsmouth just seemed too far/costly.
Probably will be hard to find the negatives in this result, sadly I couldn’t go as planned. But any feedback from those that made the trip would be good, any standouts? Any worries? Radio com team seemed to like Pelissier, how did he fair? Just thinking bout the discussion on here, did he gel any better?
James Cunningham stood out for me. He was scored two good tries and was involved in everything. However once we scored the first try the whole team just went into overdrive and Barrow had no answer. Barrow are struggling with injuries, despite three French players being added to their roster, they were poor. Some of their fans walked out at half time. They did put up a bit of a fight just after half time, but that soon faded and we soon passed the magic 45 points. Then we kicked on. It was an excellent team effort. Very professional and a credit to Wardy, Langley and the club. A good effort by the fans, well over fifty made the game. I am certainly glad I did, despite Northern Rails best efforts to keep us away. Forcing us to get a Taxi from Lancaster to Barrow at an exorbitant cost.

David Hughes should reimburse you!

I am trying to get Northern Rail to cough up the ninety quid it cost us. Luckily two of us split it. Our only other option was the coach that they were running, expected at Barrow after 4pm. No effing good as as our fellow traveller said.
