I , just to be awkward, quite like the music they play at matches -especially when they play stuff like 'Gold on the Ceiling ' by the Black Keys

I live in Ealing and I've only ever seen one attempt at advertising - a 6ft x 2ft poster outside the church in the Broadway in the build up to last season's middle 8s.
My local non league football team ( 9th tier) manage this AND a whole lot more. I'm afraid marketing/ promotion has been a joke at the Broncos for years.

Heart Attack in 2013 slowed me down.....but also a realisation that DH will do what DH wants and no amount of keyboard warriordom will change that. I am happy that I got to put all my ideas into practice here and turned around the fortunes of the local netball franchise....so it showed that it wasn't all flowers on a round-a-about, but worrying about a 2nd tier RL side 12,000 miles away is apparently not good for my cholesterol levels ......
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

Leeds are the team in the 2nd worst form in SL with 3 points taken from the last 22 available.......only Widnes are worse. Leeds will be OK in the 8's because they have 4 Home games....Salford have to travel 4 times and are hosting Toronto, possibly us or Toulouse and Widnes.......I can see them beating Widnes, FAX and London/Toulouse.......MPG bound!

It would be interesting to go back and look at peoples opinion of the 8s when it was first introduced. I think a lot of folk were suggesting it was weighted so heavily in favour of SL clubs it was pointless. If what Dog suggests is how it ends then it makes the 8s look pretty good

Dog, league points only tell half the story, Leeds form is much better than salford when you look at scorelines. So yes it shows that salford will not be rolling over just yet
