If NQC want shut of him then we could get him without any fee being involved
Failing that: Perhaps Manly could pass over the transfer fee owed for Craig Innes directly to them?
Or possibly we could do a deal with NQC similar to the one that Canterbury they did with us when they signed Greg Eastwood and we were promised as part of the agreement, the Bulldogs and Rhinos will form a partnership that is likely to see player exchanges, when the club sought a £100k transfer fee http://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/n ... ves-rhinos

Everyone has their price, and don't forget NQ are trying to bring Valentine Holmes, home.

Although "their price" in the NRL is their salary value and what hindrance it brings when they want a big player to come in and want a player out.
IMO any club signing Feldt won't be paying any fee irrespective of what the press say (including if he actually comes to SL , or any chairmen for that matter wishing to make out they paid a massive fee) and he will certainly come with a salary which will place the same implications on his next club too

Holmes won't play on the wing for the Cowboys - he wants to play full back. Feldt is average - strong yes, good finisher and a great kick off, but slower than Hall and prone to important brain farts. I certainly wouldn't want to use up a quota spot on a winger unless they were going to make a real difference to the squad. I'd rather we looked at other positions rather than wing and if we did go for a wing I'd hope our sights were set higher than Feldt.

I think we can all agree we would rather see the Hall, Moon, Ablett, Delaney, JJB, Sinfield, Kylie + JP money spent on some decent forwards + back rowers rather than a winger.

Whilst Thompson and Crosby aren't world beaters, both are presumably playing for contracts, so it should work well for this year at least. Sinfield clearly took one look at our forward stocks and decided they weren't up to it. Which has been obvious for quite some time.

Was quite telling Sinfields comments on the second row, wants players earning their place not just being picked as there’s no one else fit.
