If he was only contracted for the Middle 8s would there be a problem?

Also, just saw Antonio Winterstein has retired with immediate effect. Not that I particularly rated him, but somebody put his name up as a possible replacement for Hall. Anyway, it won't be him.

Thompson on a short term deal is fine. Anything longer is just wrong.

May as well sign Ben crooks aswell and Joe westerman. and whats Richard Owen up to nowadays

Think it was me who said Winterstein and the French winger for Cats.
Wire look like they have signed Bodene Thompson and Cas have signed Matautia.
Thought Matautia can play centre and would be a good option for us.

I don't see peoples issues here especially with Crosby who is a decent player, we need some extra players to see us to the end of the season and you can only get who is available, realistically just who are people expecting us to sign at this stage?

Scraping the barrel for jordan Thompson just adds to the already average lummox pool we have.
Id rather sign no-one & give the u19 lads a go that way we at least gain longer term.

Just to add Bodene Thompson to Wire & Harrison Hanson to Widnes are both much better options than what we've apparently ended up with.

You can't just throw under 19s into a pressure situation like the middle 8s and expect them to perform, I take it you think all the other SL clubs including Cas are scraping the barrel by looking at Leigh players.

Reading some Leigh fans comments Jordan is the far better player and one they wanted to keep.

Ive no problem with Clubs tatgetting Leigh players or any other Championship Club as long as it's the elite at those Clubs.
Ive watched Jordan Thompson for years & he's a 1 good game in 7/8 at SL Level we already have too many if them & worse.
Id happily throw 2/3 u19's into the middle 8's its no differen5 to dual reg/loan when playing the Championship clubs.
Our standards of recruitment are dropping to also ran status & imo we should be aiming higher or not at all im not interested in the "who else could we get" excuse.
