There’s a strong rumour he’s Cas bound (Mata’utia, nit MCB). We’ve needed a full back all season but he’s seen as a replacement for Webster in the centres for 2019 onwards.
To be honest I was surprised he came to SL, let alone to Leigh (particularly when he turned down Saints). I was even more surprised to see him stick with them even when they were relegated.

Crosby is effectively playing 7-8 games as a trialist, and has some pedigree. I'd only have a problem with someone like Thompson would be if we had to sign him for a year or two to get him for the end of this year. I see no downside if he does the same as Crosby, and effectively joins for a trial spell. Mind you he looks a bit 'rotund' on his wiki page.

Thompson is actually a decent player with some potential still in him. Gives a lot of heart that lad. A massive improvement on what Walters would ever be. Still need better quality in this side though.
