You could get away with Briscoe if you had a decent centre. You can’t get away with it with Handley there. So otherwise you need a very good winger.

Might be controversial but I know a few Leeds fans who have lost faith in Ward! Brilliant player, but I would be shocked if he played 50 to 70 SL games in 5 years.
Do we get enough game time from him? Is what I hear.
Just to point out I’m not over him. But I’ve heard a few fans putting it out there.

IMO it's far too early to be having this conversation. Perhaps if it was always the same recurring injury, but it's not. Substandard.com strikes again I'm afraid.
Also sounds like another attempt to find a scapegoat for the season.
If there's an issue I'd back Ward to make a decision at this stage of his career. But he's a lot younger than a large group of injury-prone and ageing back-rowers at the club who have arguably been far more deserving of the axe for being injury prone, i.e. Delaney, JJB, Ablett, Ferres etc, so IMO deserves the same latitude they have been shown in the last few years, plus a lot more given how young he is and the potential he has.

Ward has copped injuries by playing the game in a way his body isn’t up to. He could play the organising role from 13 to support Myler if we are having a running stand off. He was a good 6 in his academy days. Kev will be the perfect sounding board for him.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.
