£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

why would me, (an antagonistic agitator against the way the London club has been run for the last 12 years and a compete anti-fan of the root cause of the mismanagement beig in my opinion the RFL and Hughes refusal to work together) offering praise to the club be a sign that I wanted a job at the RFL?

A 7% rise in the number of paying fans at 11 home games may only be equivalent to about £13,000, but it means that even though we had no Bradford and HKR this year, we have grown our base......well done to all involved.

I must have been watching a different match to Nadera.
Agree with his players to praise but I thought Pellisier was quite good. Quick at the play of the ball which got our forwards flying on, helping to stop the Halifax pack coming at us. Hopefully he'll get even better once the others get used to his style of play & he gels with the team.

Indeed...I believe the average attendance was nearer 3,700 when the "flowers in quins colours at the station" was first suggested and I've long given up on the hope that anyone who works at the club would have an ounce of anything other than a self-preservation gene in them......just bow to Dave and take the cash.....Bow to Dave and take the cash.......7% is a great result with little open effort, but in reality it's 60 more fans per game and not enough yearly ticket revenue to cover 1 months wages of a professional marketer

One of Pellisier's attributes has always been a quick scoot from dummy half, and that's a good thing when used at the right time. Unfortunately, watching on Sunday, he had a really unfortunate habit of taking 2 or 3 steps diagonally forward at the ruck before then passing the ball to first receiver. All that does is reduce the space between our attack and the oncoming defensive line, which makes it harder for the halves to actually do anything when they receive the ball. The defence is on top of them immediately. The hooker needs to either run or pass from the ruck, one or the other, but do it quickly and decisively.

It may just be him needing time to settle in, he's only been here a week after all. Or it could be one of the reasons his career flatlined a couple of years back and he ended up back in France. We'll have to wait and see.

He then passes to Cunningham who again heads either east of west giving us no space hence why hes always trying to look for the inside runner to straighten up

I've said it before Cunningham at 9 passes or goes, Samutt first receiver as he stands the defence up, is a good passer and can kick, Api second receiver who likes to play in space(neither Api or Cunningham have a decent high kick in them), why we dont go with that I will never know. We must trust wardy

Api seems to need space. I am not convinced he knows his options before getting the ball. He seems to hesitate or go nowhere when something obvious is not on.
