Enjoyable game. Hindmarsh was excellent. The frogs very poor. He was taken off in the first half, if it wasn't for cunningham going off with cramp he wouldn't of come back on.

Why dont we go with cunningham at 9 (he is useless at first receiver always runs across the line closing our attacking space down and cant kick), Sammut at first receiver who stands the defence up and Api outside him who is excellent in space.

Mac out!

After a start to the season that had me smiling on Monday mornings, I am now a nervous wreck on Sunday nights scared of what result I will wake up to..... delighted for the team that after their mid season "blip" where we lost to only other contenders, we seem to be inching our way to the middle 8's......next week is Huge, as it could all be done and dusted if Fax and London get their wins.....3 wins get's us third with Widnes and HKR visiting us as well as Fax whilst we travel to France, Toronto, Salford and a mystery yorkshire town (wakey/hudds/leeds).........I can see us getting 2 wins there, in France and at home to Fax

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

I thought Hindmarch was superb and Battye would have been our groups man of the match. Thought Pellisier blended very well for a first game shame we didn't see our other newbie

Tough game, but again we came up with a result - needed several calming beers to get over the last 5-10 minutes of that game!
Hopefully that sort of game will stand the players in good stead against Fev next week - they now know they can take on our middle 8s rivals and get a result.
Despite some mistakes cannot fault yesterday's effort in temperatures more akin to the South of France than West London.
Would also like to put a word in for Hindmarsh, he's been quietly getting on with it since coming into the side, not always showy or spectacular but good solid performances - he did very well yesterday against very decent opposition, really starting to look the business.

Anyone know what the attendance was ? Good turnout from Fax made for a pretty good atmos at Trailfinders yesterday.

The 2 games mentioned we had lost 15 minutes in to the game so in all due respect Im going to disagree with you.

As has been said a very good game but not good for the nerves. Its a bit of a dogfight now for the top 4 although Im tipping London and Fax wins next week which should just about put it to bed barring any shocks on the last day. I thought Battye was your best player yesterday and for a big lad has a terrific engine and that extra fitness that London seem to have could prove the difference next week for you on a hot day as Fev do not seem the fittest team around.

Apparently it was 754, giving an average of 861 for the first bit of the season.

I’m tipping Toulouse and Fev. Which would also put it to bed with a week to spare!!!
