It's such a shame that we fans can't depend on Wakey turning up If they play like they have been we have no chance but if they play like they can we'll win. we should never have been in this position. If CC can't motivate the boy for tonight he might as well go because it's the most important game of the season.

It’s not always about being able to motivate someone. Tactical awareness and game planning are just as important if not more so. Against a good team, which despite current form Leeds are, you need to be showing the correct look in all three phases of the game.
You also need to be willing to change the game plan if it’s not working. The lads can’t be looking up at the flats and seeing the boss with a blank expression. Leadership in adversity is crucial at every level at the club.

Are you serious ? None of the fans know what goes on in training, the fitness of the players, their state of mind or, why Chester makes the team selections that he does but, some fans have very short memories, very short indeed. Apart from the odd couple of games, Trinity have been competitive in every match and have won a reasonable share and we're still in with a chance of finishing the season well. Everyone is disappointed that we haven't secured a top 8 spot yet but, I'll take the last 3 seasons over the previous 3 all day long and to question Chester because we didn't beat Huddersfield or Catalan both who are in excellent form is just daft.
Fancy a win tonight lads! Anyone recommend a good pub around the groun? I'm not from around here and never been to Headingley before.

there are a few mate near the ground - albeit on the north side of the cricket ground. the headingley taps and the head of steam are on kirkstall rd and the original oak, the box and the skyrack are on headingley lane probably all within a 10-15 min walk
Leeds have the big game experience behind them for situations like this , just ask cas . But I’m hoping wakey will pull a big performance out of the bag as well . Feels like a cup game, bring it on .

What gets me is this notion that Sky will want Leeds to stay up and Wakefield to get relegated. Do you really think that someone from Sky will have been on the phone to Robert Hicks to tell him to give Leeds everything which just might give them a lifeline to stay up. They will then have to do the same when we play Widnes and Salford There`s you other notion that we are a dirty side and that we are the only team in the League that passes the ball forward constantly. Do some of you guys only ever watch Leeds? I have seen far more forward passes and dirty play form several other teams this year. Get a grip you have some decent players in your side who are more than capable of beating us tonight. For your sakes let`s hope they deliver and are not already thinking they are going to get shafted by the ref, Sky and the RFL otherwise they will be approaching the game defeated before they even start.
