Has anyone got any idea who the number 35 is that Richie Myler put on his instagram? A few rumours kicking about, hope it isn’t Aiton or Burrow as neither of them will help our issues.

Hope Aiton isn't returning, although if he is - what's changed? He was told to retire on medical grounds yet he's returning?

The only reason we'd need Isaac Like is if Parcell leaves. Which I can see happening at the end of this year. Although Luke isn't what he once was, he'd be a fantastic addition to our squad + the league.

I hope Parcell doesn't leave. Even if he's replaced, having to bring in new players to replace Parcell, Moon and Hall on top of the positions we are desperate to get new blood - i.e. the pack - is a huge ask in one off season. I'd rather those three stayed and we focused on finding two quality forwards under 30.

Is Ablett definitely leaving?
I thought I picked up in Sinfields press conference that there will be a group of 4 leaders which included Ablett supporting Watkins next year making it a strong group and not putting all the responsibility on one player or words to that effect.
That to me means Ablett would still be around or have I missed something?

That's exactly what I read into it too. I wonder if some who were thinking of leaving are changing their minds now Kev is back?

That said, If Ablett stays, then Delaney and JJB need to be replaced with younger fresher more dynamic second rowers.

Phil Caplin said the reason Ablett was looking elsewhere was because an offer hadn’t come from Leeds. Maybe now kevs back they’ve made him one. Kev also speaks about needing burrow in his coaching staff as he trusts him. Maybe this is how he feels about Ablett in trying to regain the old Leeds culture and what it means to be a Leeds player.

Also found it interesting he didn’t choose jjb in the leadership group, assume this means jjb retires this year ?
