Some of the cavemen on here need to give their heads a shake. People of either sex are entitled to an opinion and if it doesn't agree with your own then that's hard cheese.
Sheldon of course bigotry is wrong, but my point is sometimes lighthearted banter can be turned on its head to appear wrong, as I said you sometimes cant say anything these days without upsetting somebody,

banter about gender?
that isn't banter, it's abuse for no reason other than genitals.
but it always seems acceptable to some people of a certain age
did I mention anything at all about gender? no, I am simply stating that in this day and age you sometimes cant say anything without upsetting somebody, it seems you just cant say nothing without people jumping down your throat, why your having a pop at me heaven knows, it only backs up my opinion you cant saying nothing now,

Tbf, i’ve rarely, if ever, met anybody who doesn’t have anything they see as sacrosanct, and which should be exempted from mockery and should command respect.
Pretty much everybody is a ‘snowflake’ about something - not least those who favour the term.

You can take offense without being a professional grievance mongerer/virtue signalling bellend though, the rise of such people is who I think he was referring to!

True.
Maybe new forms of communication bring more opportunity for conflicting views to collide. Or interacting through this type of medium, deprives us of key elements of communication like body language and facial expression. Maybe a complex world makes appropriately directing anger more difficult, leading to more anger.
I'm not sure it is such a new tendency though. People have been arguing and taking the moral high ground since forever, and accusing others of hypocrisy when they do the same.
Which brings us back to Jake Connor. No, actually it doesn't does it?
So, where does everybody stand on extending marriage rights to polyamorous groups? And the differences in the treatment of Caitlyn Jenner and Rachel Dolezal?
