But I got a section in the tribute part towards the back, so I was happy

Although I haven't read it myself, my Dad raves about Terry Clawson - All The Wrong Moves.

Apart from that time Tevita Latu sent him flying at Belle Vue

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"

If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

Went through it a bit myself last year so I found Steve Prescott's "One in a million" truly inspirational. Incredibly brave under those circumstances but he doesn't speak too well a bout his days at Wakey which was all news to me.
"Standing tall by Tawaura Nikau is another good read.

Difficult to be critical of any of our players during the Pearman era regardless of their reciprocal feelings. Apart from one long range try I can't really remember much of him during that season.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years"

Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015

2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot.

2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance

2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son.

2020 - Keeping the faith.

Terry Newton’s, Coming clean, If that doesn’t bring a tear to your eye, nothing will, an outstanding and emotional read.

As alluded to on other threads recently one of the most interesting RL biography books is that handed out at the funeral of the late, great H Poynton esquire at his funeral two weeks ago. I feel proud to be the owner of a copy.

Yes it was the Pearman era mate and as I said it was news to me. I knew at the time there were problems but didn't know of the player payment problems.
I've read loads of rugby league player autobiographies and probably every one by a Cas player.
Hardisty and Reilly stand out as good ones but a lot of the others are just anecdotes padded out with page after page of statistics.
Sean Longs "Longy" was funny but a bit far fetched for me as you just couldn't imagine they would be able to take to the field after all that.

Barrie McDermott's book is an entertaining read - Made for Rugby.

Couldn't bring myself to buy this one, think he's a pratt! How does his book differ?
