Tonight we should have had a penalty try for batch And then the sts double movement
In both cases no use of the video ref which would have given us a positive outcome in both cases It's normally used to death as well
Very much enjoyed the game other than that
Exactly. I've seen obvious tries repeatedly referred upstairs but on both occasions tonight, live at real speed the incidents looked iffy and in need of referral. It beggars belief he didn't do it. It is time we saw ref reviews and the RFL being open and honest when clear errors have been made, with plans for how they will deal with it.

Finn is decent but Saints exposed his lack of pace down our right and their left in the first half. On another note, Randall will end up at loose forward, because when Wood has been introduced, he's provided zip and creativity at acting half.

So why not on these two occasions. Do the club have a right to an official complaint against these so-called officials. It seems they have a right to effectively wreck a club or player's future with no accountability to the clubs or fans.
Overall I would agree, though his last 3 games he has reffed we have done ok out of him...but it has to be said, as we know, this goes against a long history of him destroying us. Tonight's two major decisions were so bad it makes you wonder how that can happen

Incidentally in the same game he didn't refer the Tom Johnstone "try" which he clearly dropped. Its all about perception, the fact is he gets things wrong all the time.
I am sorry but Finn is a liability in defence. How many times was it three onto one because he was nowhere to be seen. He was good but his time is past however it was an excellent performance decided by two poor decisions.

Happy to be wrong about that one - turned out to be less of a spanking and more of a continuation of our abusive relationship with Mr Child; how on earth he didn't refer both the Batchelor penalty try and the Taia double movement to the VR, is absolutely beyond me - given that his normal habit is to use the VR if someone so much as looks at him in a funny way.
Full credit to CC and the boys - outstanding performance, in the 2nd half at least.
Proud as punch of the lads. Saints were never going to not fight until the end, but neither did we. Obviously as with all Sky games there were some controversial incidents, the Batchelor penalty try for instance. Also, it's nice that Wigan and Hull KR did us a favour this week too.
I watched very closely and I thought Ryan Hampshire was outstanding, his pace creates space for others and if he keeps improving he will become one of the best players in SL over the next 12-18 months.

Thanks mate, the lads did better than I thought evidently but in the end it was the same outcome but like others have said, we play like that against the other sides we have left and we will be absolutely fine!

I agree, he doesn't deserve the crap posted about him. As for having a decent game, you must've been watching a different game to me. I forgot he was playing half the time. The only thing I can remember him being involved in (other than kicking at goal) was the forward pass in the second half. Don't get me wrong he's played some good games, but I think he needs to either consider the 'R' word or if he isn't ready for that just yet, then dropping down a division. Unfortunately his race in Super League has run.
