And out of interest - how does that manifest itself on a RL pitch?
Are you suggesting that we have a whole range of unusual, arcane strategies and techniques up our sleeves, that are usually suppressed and forbidden, due to needing to actually win a match?

I'm not suggesting anything other than the players shouldn't be playing tonight with the fear of losing because that's what everyone expects them to do. On the strategies i think it's called a 'game plan'. Or 'game management'. So Yeah, it does manifest itself onto the pitch.

Ok - see to me, expressing oneself is kind of the opposite to a strategy or a game plan; it's what happens when say, Rangi Chase runs up his own ar5e and does a reverse pass to himself, or BJB snatches a pass from mid-air and runs the length of the pitch. But I don't see how a coach could send a team out with the game plan - "just express yourself lads." That's not a plan.
Anyhow - I think we'll lose comfortably to Saints, and there'll be no shame in that - they're miles ahead of every other team in SL right now; so on that point we agree - they shouldn't fear it.

I think we'll watch the game before we start blaming anyone. Anyway, if it ends up Finn's fault it will really be Chester's. It's more likely to be Richardson's, Roby's, Barba's or Child's fault though.

We may get beaten tonight but, I dont think "comfortably". It will be interesting to see how the Saints' England contingent have coped with their trip to Denver, especially Roby and if we can prevent Barba from attacking in broken play, we may even cause another upset. Trinity are in better form than they were in April and our pack should be a match for theirs.

If we do, we should copyright it and sell it to other coaches - because no one has quite mastered it yet - although Leeds made a decent fist of it; fat lot of good it did them like!

I would guess the first rule would be don't put the ball down his throat on last play kicks?

In the 2 games Barba has played against us he hasn't done anything. Maybe Chester knows how to deal with him already???

I would agree - Leeds ended a lot of their sets in a very pedestrian way, but it took away one of Barba's main weapons and made them do a structured restart, which has to be easier to defend than Barba running through everyone like he has spiders on him.
