It's hardly the gold standard for testing endurance though. Not disputing the fact whether it did or didn't happen, but many variables could have affected the outcome.

Cheap way of doing it and monitoring throughout the year I guess. It will still show progress or regress. But you'd think a professional sports clubs would use a more efficient way of testing.

Does seem a bit strange, anything called a "Yo Yo" test sounds less than cutting edge.
