Just a quick thread about Jack Logan. He burst onto the scene a few years ago now - the game against Leeds at home particularly memorable for his couple of tries. He looked a natural centre.

A couple of bad years with injury and he has now got fit and back into the side due to injuries to other players. He came back on the wing and looked suspect in defence, and against Saints last week too, his defence was poor (albeit we were down to 11 men at the time and stretched)

However, his comments in the HDM show a great level of maturity - sitting with Radders to look at his flaws and work on it, and his defence on Friday against Sau, putting his shoulder in, as well as the line he ran for his try (a great Centre's line), plus the offload to Faraimo for his 1st - were great pieces of play.

I hope he get's his confidence back and improves over the next couple of years

I thought he spoke very well in his interview and showed a high level of maturity. Didn't think he'd had an awful lot of criticism from what I've seen (the only bits I have being a bit of a 50/50 performance against St's) but pleasing to hear that he takes it on board and wants show people by his actions etc which he did on Friday.

I seen bits on social media that was way over the top, I think people had the right to criticise his performance against Saints, but some of the stuff I read was out of order. I was critical of his performance against Saints, but I spoke to him for a while at the fans day about it on Saturday, very level headed and honest, did a great job on Sau last Friday and looked a threat with the ball, I really hope it's works out for him at Hull, I certainly keep him for another year, must be tough to come back from 2 years out.

I wasn't aware of that as don't go on social media as its a cesspit. Think you were similar to me Dave in the points questioned about
his performance against St's. Sounds on the face of it he also thought similar as he admitted he did some good stuff but also more not so good but worked hard with the coaching staff to put those things right. Think he showed on Friday that he'd learnt from his mistakes and worked hard.

He just needs a sustained run in the team.

He is only 22 and has essentially lost 2 years worth of development due to injury. I arent convinced he will ever develop into a top class centre, but there are glimpses of a decent player in there.

Thought he handled Sau really well on friday and had his best game for a long while needs a good run for me.
