I have always thought Gaskell was ok but I think he is a player who is more similar to Miller than Finn. He is versatile though and I would be happy to have him in the squad to cover a few positions.

I think this shows how far we have come.
There was a time where we'd all have jumped at a chance to sign Gaskill. He has skills there is no doubt.
But the team that we have built now is a step up from that. We don't need Huddersfield cast offs. We should be shopping higher up the list.
Chester has a history of making some pretty big signings. Let's see what he comes up with.

I think we can aim higher than Gaskell, he’s hardly ever fit and I don’t think he’s consistent enough. I do like him though!

According to the Shudds fans forum they are looking to renegotiate his contract. A big no thank you from us, we have better here. A shame as this kid was a top prospect when he first broke through at Saints I believe, but he never seems to be off the treatment table!

I don't think we need to bring any players in but we do need to keep this squad together. Clubs with more money must be looking at the likes of Fifita Tupou Johnstone BJB even Lynne and Bachelor. They will be dangling contracts we can never match. . . A difficult task for MC .
