next couple of games coming up for us will define whether we will get a chance at the top 4, I have now doubt we would be in the top 8 and even though its still got to be confirmed but we have one foot in at the moment,
look at the teams who's playing who playing an you could end up with 3 to 6 separated by 4 points
wigan play hull and cas, wigan could lose both
we play wire and widnes need to win both its a must if a top 4 is to be achieved
all having played 18 games it could drag both wigan and wire within catching distance
cas and hull looks the strongest at the moment wire starting to show cracks wigan actually think they are in the top 4 and its coming back to bite them

It looks like Saints will finish top and right now, you could see Wigan not making the top 4, with Warrington, Hull & Cas likely to fill 2,3,4.
As for Trinity, we just need to win, more games than Shudds and Catalan, avoid the middle 8's and anything else would be a bonus.
We could go on a run and really mount a challenge, especially after the split but, it would take a hell of a lot of luck and for many other results to go in our favour.
Talk about getting all the ducks in a row, for Trinity to make the top 4 would be the stuff of legend and I really dont see it.
Our games against Catalan and the last game of the season against Shudds could be HUGE.

Warrington are the team we have to chase, last night that result went our way now we have to beat them and the catch up game v widnes to be with in two points of them

Lets focus on chasing down Hull and keeping Leeds at bay for now, I'd be more than happy finishing in 6th place at the moment.

A game in hand over Hull, if we can get the two points against Widnes this puts us two points behind Hull with Warrington, Saints, Catalans, Leeds, Hull and Huddersfield to play.

I'm quite speculative of the Warrington game now, Castleford beating them could send them 1 of 2 ways and with us picking up the win confidence could be a massive factor in the game. I'm not expecting much against Saints even with the win earlier in the season but the rest are more than winnable in my eyes and the Hull game could prove to be massive if we are to push our way up the league.
