A poor version of Danny Tickle. Pathetic signing.

I'm sure Tomkins will perform better then Danny Tickle in the 8s

Agree his form has dipped and the incident won't have helped him but a fresh start with us suits both parties.

He really wouldn't. He's been dire since he returned from union. He hasn't even been a starter for wigan and they've been playing one of their back rowers at centre all year. I'd have been disappointed if we'd signed him

Tomkins or Kellys behaviour both unacceptable so the FC fans stating which is the more Moronic is unbelievable, so why dont you all take a walk back to the darkside, and you Jake, hobble back on your peggy, bye......

what an opportunity you are giving him, under a great coach lets see if he's willing to turn it around, while I think his attitude is wrong and his latest media attention was disgraceful lets hope something good comes from this
good luck with it

Joel can play at centre and I reckon will replace Salter.

What Joel did was pretty bad but its far from isolated in the community. As a public figure its a lot worse though.

However, everyone has seen it and he will be hounded by this for years. In the mean time, lets not understate this, we are desperate to turn things around. 2 years ago we took the moral high ground when Kelly could have helped us survive. If we get relegated a second time, we may not be coming back. I don't like it particularly but desperate times etc.

And the Geek shall inherit the Earth!

It was bad, and he is right to feel ashamed of it.

Hopefully the reaction to it from Wigan fans will stop him and others from doing similar in the future. The apologism, silence, and even lionisation that greeted Kelly was arguably more distasteful than the McDonalds incident itself.

I can’t remember her exact words, but the barmaid said something like ‘you’re ruining your career.’ at one point. I assume we put something like that in our welcome packs for new players nowadays. Dear Joel, welcome to Hull KR and ruination.

Actually a decent size for his position, so that’s something. And at least if we go down, it’ll feel a bit more like we tried to save ourselves. Salford and Widnes look like spent forces at every level currently, so I think we have a chance in the middle 8s. Cue Widnes stuffing Catalans this afternoon, looking like world beaters.

In reality we’re chasing that 9/10th spot with Huddersfield 5pts clear and Catalans hitting a bit of form and if JT helps then do be it

on a slightly funnier note, some wigan lad has just said if he tried that sort of thing with a barmaid in a pub on preston road she would kick his arris all the way back to wigan,
