So proud of all the players yesterday. Despite all the odds which everyone knows about and have been mentioned above we came within a whisker of winning that game against the best team in the comp at the moment. But I want to give credit to Adam Pearson. In turning our club around to where we expect to win things now. When some wanted Lee Radford sacking he kept his nerve and steadied the ship and we are now proffiting from this. How lucky were we when he came along ?. Let's be thankfull for what we have and look forward to a brighter future for our club.Just trying to put a positive spin on it all.

As fans all we ask is that no matter what 17 take to the field is that they give their all and that is what they gave yesterday and more. They are to be applauded for running St's so close and for all the issues and adversity in that game just for a bit of luck would have seen us in the semi's.
Definitely a case of a team that did not deserve to lose.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Great post.
The never say die attitude that is now associated with the club is something to be really proud of, and really resonates with the fans. That only comes from the instilled culture that permeates from the top downwards.
The great thing is that LR and his players won’t be happy with losing that game yesterday. Just a few years ago yesterday’s match would have been looked upon as a success.
I was sceptical of LR being appointed, and I doubted him ever bringing success to the club and awaited his sacking. Even this year I queried selling Watts and re-signing Westerman. I don’t think I could have been more wrong over the last three years. I’m just going to keep quiet now.
Thank you to AP, LR, Motu & Gaz Ellis for giving us a club and ethos to be proud of.

THIS !!! sat with tears in my eyes yesterday (yes I should man up !!) so proud of the team, couldn't have given anymore, a little bit of luck gone our way and we be turning up at Bolton march on to the g.f now
Now the dust has settled on THAT performance.... I can't help but think that game is a watershed moment for the Club. Those players that played and those squad players that witnessed such total commitment can surely now feel they are part of a squad and a culture that can consistently produce winning Rugby against the very best in the comp.
Saints have run hot all year, and they started hot, but they could not hold the force that was Hull FC. Without doubt we would have won, had our discipline been better. That will be a key learning, its all that was missing.
But we were more than a match for the top of the league side in their backyard, and apart from the first 10, once the machine got into its rhythm, with 13 on the field we always looked the stronger side.
That realisation, within the club, that they can be a great side must surely give them the feeling that they can go onto experience more sustained success.
After 2 Wembley wins, I thought that that might be it for a season or 2. But no! It looks like Radders has the recipe, the nounce, the game plans to give us something really special, and maybe a period of dominance within the game. I feel we are on the cusp of something special, like they can move up a gear that I didn't think we had. Seeing the way they played yesterday, I think they now believe it too. I'm sure Radders will make them believe it.

You gave us a lesson in knock out football yesterday, never giving and defending for all you are worth. I think come full time your team got a bigger round of applause from the home fans than Saints did. Hope Houghton won't be out to long he's a player that gives his all every week.
