If we can keep that attitude & get some more bodies back, we can do some real damage at the business end if the season.
After today, I think we’ll struggle next weekend, as we have after Cup games in the past but Harris back in and Turgut who should be raring to go, think we can still do it but Lee Radford has got his work cut out. Minicello gave his all today, Manu didn’t seem to be all there. Washbrook got sinbinned against Fev for exactly the same thing so he should take a rap for that. Hope Bumpy eventually gives Radford some praise for today instead of redirecting his past failures onto Coffee Girl.

I’ve just looked on odds checker and it is quoted as current. Which is ridiculous - nobody else is shorter than 100/1 either.
Opportunity for some no-lose betting there! Although iirc correctly bookmakers can renege on a bet if odds are obviously offered in error. I wonder if Widnes and or Rovers should have those numbers reversed? But that would seem too short, tbh.
Betfred have Rovers at 6-4 and Widnes at 11/10, which seems much more sensible.

Yes we do. The theory is that when we are stretched we use a "wrap around" defence, the winger shoots out to try to rush the centre into a mistake/poor pass and the next defenders in push out to the winger. Sometimes we do it when there is no real need to, but when you are defending an overlap it really is the best way to deal with it, you have to pressure the ball carrier otherwise you will just get picked off.

Nah, they just haven't been updated. The Betfred ones will be correct. The Boylesports ones will be from a month or so into the season, if you go on their site the market probably doesn't even exist anymore.

I love this club and what Radford is building.
Well said, I have been proud on many occasions of the club, today was an amazing effort from those on display in adversity. Happy indeed to applaud them off. Great effort and performance, albeit with room for improvement in certain areas

Massive effort, although feel that we let ourselves down a couple of times. Particularly Washy, who will be lucky to play next week, injuries might save him. Logan had a shocking first half, it could be argued that all 4 try's were his fault, the last two efforts were really poor. Think Scott has to be above him now.
Taylor was outstanding and really like Mouldi, think he has a great career ahead of him if he keeps his head down.
Next Friday will be tough, but hopefully a couple of fresh players and high new motivation will see us though.
Hard to pick a side without knowing who is out, but I'd bring in Lane, Westy, Litten, Harris and Scott.

I'm gutted we lost in such difficult circumstances but we only have ourselves to blame. With 13 v 13 for the whole game we win today IMO. I thought houghton going off probably cost us any real chance in the end. Such a massive player for us in attack and defence.
Pleasing that even with a makeshift team, 5 definite starters missing, 3 sin binnings, 8 minutes where we only had 11 players on the pitch and losing 3 players to injury in the game that we matched their 4 tries.

You like to complain about abuse, but thats twice now youve called her out on this thread, despite being warned about it fairly recently. Just give it a rest ffs Back on topic... Effort 11/10 Execution 6/10 We could have won that game. Gutted but proud
Abuse, just giving my opinion, oh wait, that's only allowed if you're one of the special protected few on here who can say what they like. Mrs Barista's negativity is spouted virtually every single game, she doesn't get behind the team she constantly writes them off and as early as 20 minutes in for one game!
I simply point out that that is negative and troll posting just to get a rise which is exactly what the mods said earlier in the season that she does it deliberately. So I will out it for what it is, a defeatist negative troll. You can't allow posters to write vitriolic bile when some say something they don't agree with and then say you can't say anything when the tables are turned. I've been called all sorts on here, baited, personal attacks on my family, called a sexist pig and more and even last week threatened with assault when I come down next (Wigan home game as it happens) and mostly the mods ignore it. You don't have a say in the matter, you're not a mod, not that they are interested in consistency just like Thaler.

How much more loudly would you have liked me to support them today, stood on the terraces and applauding every play? Should I have sat behind a keyboard instead slating genuine fans and calling our most successful coach in a generation a "steaming gap-toothed turd"? Wow. Incredible. Stick to "dolly bird" casual misogyny please.
