Think the shudds fans have been quite reasonable really with the exception of that clown brearley 88/giantsrl or whatever he's now calling himself.

I’m as annoyed at the run of results as the rest of us, I think Chester is still the man to lead us forward, however, he has just received a lesson in application of squad members who are at the back end of their careers. He obviously didn’t for see how quickly Finn was going to decline in performance and general robustness, that has now left us try to fit players into positions which is causing squad changes to be far to irratic for this stage of season and is unsettling.
Warrington went through the same drama over last 3 seasons of constant Halfback combinations used which caused attacking threat to be nil and set after set not being able to get over that try, they came to conclusion it’s a position that needs continuity and confidence, to which yesterday I saw none.
The squad is good enough , I don’t agree that there is a big clear out required other than natural wastage due to age, we need a quality player like Declan Patton (one example) , Huddersfield will be in same situation when brought finally gives up the ghost, they have not looked to phase him out either. Chester is probably only guilty at this moment in time of being to sentimental. However if he doesn’t address situation soon or find solution our attack will continue to suffer, wins will be hard to come by and it could cost him his job,,

It'll soon quieten down, there isn't a lot going on at Shudds, just a bit of papering over cracks.
They are -236....twohundredandthirtysix...rofl, that does not get fixed in 2 games against a misfiring Wakey.
I'm more interested in what we're doing and the 5h1tty backing the team and coaching staff are getting from some quarters here.

You are of course correct about brough- but the issue our recent successive coaches have- and Chester also has- is there is sod all out their in terms of half back quality!
Whilstever brough is still bossing a game like he did yesterday why would we want to “drop” him to phase in a youngster- or anyone else at all?
Ollie Russell did the business a couple of weeks ago- but No one else in this hemisphere can put in a kicking game like brough does.

We are now down to just one ban and 5 injuries which is the least we have had ALL season, (I’m not counting the forced retirement of our number 11) so yes we have been losing, badly. But with 10-12 players out each week, most from our first choice- it’s hardly surprising. We have at times had just 4 of our first 13 on the pitch at once. The positive to that is that 5 debutants have had SL experience, and some other youngsters have been getting more game time, 13 homegrown players have played in our side this season- which can only improve us long term.

Unfortunately for you it's impossible for Shudds to paper over the many cracks that have stigmatised that once great club since the onset of Super League.
Damned and forever destined to crawl on your belly. :BOOHOO:

Mark Sneyd has one of the best kicking games I have seen England produce, Gale is class as well so to suggest "no one else in this hemisphere can put in a kicking game like Brough does" is way of the mark for me.

Sneyd-no way, his kicking isn’t in the same class. I’m not talking about goal kicks- I’m talking about smart in play kicks. Gales short range kicking is decent, probably better than broughs- but imo no one has a long range kicking game like broughy. It’s not just the fact he gets the kick right- it’s the fact He consistently does it under constant pressure from the opposition. I know it hurts to admit it- but it is true.

You wouldn't have p155ed on him if he was on fire for the last season and a half, 3 shakey wins later you're wetting your knickers gobbing off how there is nobody this side of Jupiter worthy of replacing him.
You're absolutely ******* priceless jools
Go back to your own board and bitch the living hell out your club like you have been doing for longer than I can remember, because if Wakey lose next week, we're all gonna need cheering up.

For normal, functioning, mature adults, it doesn't hurt at all; Brough is one of the most naturally talented hb's this country has ever produced - that's without question. His temperament is suspect, his off-field behaviour hasn't helped him, and his career has fallen far short of where it should have gone given his ability and opportunities. But to suggest that neither Gale or Sneyd are anywhere near him, is just hyperbole - they're both rare examples of extremely talented British hb's - and it looks like Saints have unearthed another one in Danny Richardson.

It's fine to enjoy his contribution to your team - but don't be a pillock about it.
