Watching Toulouse I would be very surprised if we can contain em, they blew us away at our place, I suspect they will do the same in Blackpool, hope am proved wrong

I know Lovell went off injured early but Ward said we lost 2 players.
Who was the other?

Channing was lost all game, what a shocking choice as stand off. He should be a Skolars

Why he didn't play Meadows I will never know.

Hindmarsh was the other injury. Hobbled of with a leg injury.

Mac out!

Ward spoke about us being disrespectful but I think he was just as guilty with his selection.

I think he saw this as a chance to let Meadows get some game time/experience with Skolars and then he can try his back up plan (Channing) incase we pick up injuries later on.

Likewise with Davis at hooker again. I keep saying it that we need to bring in proper cover/competition at Hooker and HB. Its nit just players out of position, we lose their effect elsewhere (Davis in the back row).

We have seen how good we can be but I think squad depth (lack of will cost us when it matters).

I'm guessing Api and Harrison were injured does anyone know???

Meadows was not involved for the Skolars.

Re the injuries, Pewhairangi has a slight hip problem but should be available this weekend.
No news on Harrison.

Apologies, could have sworn I saw his name in their squad. If he is not injured then it is even more strange

Spoke to Dan at the game. His right leg looked a bit stiff but he’s happy he’ll be available next week.

Agreed, massive game for us.
I still think Toulouse will fall apart like last season, so maybe we can start them on the way?

Had hoped for a repeat of last week but the only really pleasing thing about yesterday for me was the lads kept going at Sheffield in the last 10 mins , adding some valuable points to our PD total. It's very tight in the top5 , could be very important.
