Could be both and some poor recruitment decisions. maguire was always going to miss a lot of matches.

Agree that in modern RL injuries seem more commonplace and yes a fair few team have plenty out but Rovers in general have had not just season enders but career enders over last few years Heff could be the 3rd centre retired young (making Minns seem even more costly mistake)Add in Weyman Campese then long term injuries to Donno Shaw Addy Lawler Lunt McGuire and plenty others it seems we get 1 or2 back and next game lose another3?

As for today's game we need a Cas type performance from yesterday.Run it in that little bit harder, scramble in defence that bit more desperate and generally want it more than the rival. High completion rate and as few penalties as possible could see us home? Also don't give Thaler slightest opportunity to brandish his cards cos he will. Smash Yeamen if he play (legally) Vai Vai man of match.

This is surely the requirement for every game?

Connor has become the pantomime villain for me, so would prefer to see him (legally) smashed, having said that I’d like to see Yeamon or anyone in a b&w shirt take a massive hit.

We need to out-bully their team and not get dominated with ball in hand.

If Yeamo faces Vaivai, the big V will run through him.

Any idea on the ref?

Could our luck be any worse. First Smith is of after a few mins, then they score possibly the luckiest try you’ll see all year. The rugby gods don’t favour us do they.

Just let’s hope our terrible centre injury curse doesn’t hint Vaivai because so far he’s been a gem of a find.
