Seems to be a real lack of interest on here for the Shef game. Good result though.
Did anyone go up? Any feedback? Good bits (apart from the 66 points), bad bits, what was ball retention like and the discipline? Any injuries?

I am interested, couldn’t go up north as partner going to airport, no commentary so watched Wire - good result and similar score line next week gives us a massive points difference advantage over every other team.

We could be 3rd by this time next week......or even 2nd if Toronto and Leigh win!!!!!! :D

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Sheffield were poor. They offered very little, some of their fans left at half time, they had seen enough.
We were at fault for all their tries. If we had been a bit more professional we could have kept them scoreless.
Next week we should be able to do a number on them. They were unable to cope with our attack. So I expect more of the same.

We didn't need to get out of second gear. Their ex Broncos tried hard but evidenced why we released them. Our attack was crisp and we scored some decent tries, long and close range. 2 or 3 forward passes in good positions prevented the score board moving along. All played well but special mention to Evans and Battye, who along with Pitts and Sammut shone. Api went off at half time with a pull. Funny ground, not unlike our own, prime for development but currently looking a bit sparse.

I thought Sheffield were very poor and to be honest I thought Broncos lacked a lot of shape in attack and let Sheffield score 3 soft tries, the one at the end was disgraceful and almost exactly the same as last 2 tries against Leigh. Our warm up lacked energy and I thought we looked uninterested. All 14 off contract players had letters last week to say they are free to talk to other clubs (12 played yesterday)...hardly motivating.

I don't understand the ins and outs of contract negotiation, etc, but does that mean we wont / have not yet made a contract offer ?

Can you remind me who the off contract players are.

I am sure you are a sound source, but this info seems from the very heart of the organisation. How do you get to know this stuff ?
