the young academy lad wallis was outstanding for his first game,the team took it to wigan and rattled them into a below par performance,shame about mulhern injury ,best forward on the pitch for me,sending off made a possible win disappear, no luck at all with injuries at the moment, but feeling more confident about middle eights on the last few performances.

He was awesome, nothing phased him, brought the ball out well and showed up well in defence. Him and Oakes have a bright future with Hull Kingston Rovers

Really glad I decided to go in the end, a really encouraging performance from a scratch side. Without Tickle’s red card who knows, we might have nicked it.

As per all CC games, the fans don’t seem bothered, although credit to the 800-ish Wigan fans for travelling well. Just watching the Wire game, looks a good crowd, did they let them in for nowt?

Wire must fancy their chances this year, Its a real shame the cup still holds a certain level of romance in my opinion but there you go
