It's not necessarily the quality of the individual, but more the value to the team. For example, if you have 1 half back missing - you can pretty much cover. If we have maguire missing we have matty marsh - therefore it can be argued that maguires value to the team is more important then sneyd's or kelly's. Similar situation to houghton with you, not much cover where as at hooker we usually have 3/4 who can jump in.
KR have injuries but we are decimated. Clearly KR will be good favourites with the bookies next week. It will be a chance for our fringe players to shine, if we walk away with the 2 points it will be a massive effort.

I'm looking at it from a point of we're putting in a load of young, hungry Hull lads, for a derby. Yeah they're always gonna try hard and try to make the most of their opportunity regardless of the opposition, but I'm hoping the fact it's a derby just manages to bring an extra 5% out of them. Any youngster making his debut next week, or even the likes of Turgut who already has a few games under his belt, are gonna massively be up for this one. Just gotta hope nerves don't get the better of them.

Yes, that's the same
Lunt is the best hooker in Super League though. He must be worth 3 or 4 of our players.
In all honesty, I reckon they'll be nervous as anything playing a derby where people actually expect them to get a result. We beat them with 12, surely we can't beat them with Academy kids??

Literally. This kid we've recalled from Dewsbury looks younger than my son and he's doing his GCSEs.
