Having watched some of the Swinton game this morning on TV. I am amazed that they were allowed to play at Markham. The facilities looked really poor.
Ground looked worse than SHU where Sheffield played.

Let’s hope the home ground is sorted for June

Appalling discipline against Wire, started well but will be lucky to keep it under 50 and keep 10 men on field at the end,

Nothing unusual considering the coach they have!

Think it shows their pedigree or lack of it, they don’t like it when things don’t go their way and get petulant, like a bunch of whining kids, and that’s an insult to some of the junior teams. It was good to see Ben taking such positive action with the dissent.

And given his quotes of the BBC site he sees Wire as the aggressors.....
Quote:"First half we were very good in all aspects and very aggressive, it showed with Warrington they started throwing the toys out of the pram at times. They didn't like it"

If they get promoted I would imaging a high profile Aussie will be brought in, because that style of play will see them relegated straight away.......I really hope the RFL are going to send strong referees to Toronto for their home games......

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Rowley did the same with Leigh which is why they failed in play offs first time round, they tried the bully tactics against SL opposition. They got found out on sun, against other championship side they are not going to struggle as they did against wire to maintain the pace which is why they kept getting caught out.

Interesting article on the issues that arose from Sunday game.

Ben Thaler can’t ref every game though.
