Same here if mc and cb get forced out at Wakefield me and my family will walk away from the club we've supported for 40 years we feel that strongly about it all .

if you look at the way its gone on over the last year all I see is the noose being tightened, it would be lovely to have the information in front of us but its not ours in ownership so you have to understand they keep it close to their chest, any good businessman would

I'm prepared to walk away from supporting this club if these two are forced to relinquish their position in a aggressive take over bid, no doubt at some time they will move on but gawd help us if we get the clowns from the past back in charge, had it not been for them we wouldn't of had a club end of.
I really hope Micheal and Chris pull through this farce
Snowie, as you have a closer working relationship with MC and CB than most on here, because of your beer work and your terrace work, when you say something like that, it smacks of knowing something, which puts his tweets into perspective.
If I read between the lines, Rodders is trying to get his Trust up and running, perhaps take over the club, which will get us a revamped Belle Vue at a rent we can't afford, and we will slowly sink back into the Championship.
Although as a limited company, I don't think there can be an aggressive take-over bid. In a PLC, someone can buy up shares and force a take-over. In a limited company, the directors choose the share issue, so they can't be taken over against their wishes.
What they can do, however, is be left with only one viable option by others moving the pieces, so they take the option they don't want, selling to someone else, because it's the only option left open by those wishing to make the purchase.

The developers want the land to develop, WT is in the way, they don't give a stuff about WT so its smoke/mirrors and miscellaneous spin, ****** and promises never to be acted on till WT get fed up and make their own arrangements. Apart from the perception that MC and CB are nobody's fools and thus not gonna just roll over, I expect the interested parties have accepted it'll take a bit longer than they'd hoped. I suppose it would help if the owners would just get out the way, but since that ain't happening they're just waiting it out. Can't see there being a concerted effort to remove the owners when if they obfuscate long enough it won't matter who the owners are.

I'd never walk away from the club but MC would always have my respect and gratitude for what he's done for the club if he did decide to leave.
Just been looking at the tweets. What a load of codswallop to be putting on social media. It’s like being back in the playground. WT is a professional sports club and it’s in the best shape it’s been in years under the current chairman and his team. I really despair at the antics of this bloke and the council.

Could it be, if we don't get new stadium it's the end of the club, if MC and CB can't agree terms on proposed stadium then probably no club. The new trust find miraculously find somebody willing to agree terms on new stadium to take over the club.

I think you forgot to put the word "miraculously" in inverted commas.

That doesn't mean no club and its by no means clear what options will or won't be available.
I would never walk away. Why would I after 60 years supporting ?Yeah MC is doing a great job , but I have seen so many chairmen in my life . He is the present custodian. The club is the people who support through thick and thin, and would ' bleed red, white n blue'.
