Radford did a great job with his interchanges this evening.
Good balanced interchange and at right times, having a fully fit back row to start does help but rotating players even if that means putting inexperienced youngsters in place of another player can only pay dividends. Whilst we've had some injuries the last month is the first time he's really done it to the full extent he could, trusting to the younger players will reap rewards at the back end and if we lose with a few kids in there I'm not about to have a meltdown because the long term benefit either end of season or next season and beyond is actually more important. Mix in Litten to spell Houghton, Brad Fash and even a couple of the others down the pecking order in some eyes and it means senior players are fresher and maybe even less likely to get an injury.
