I disagree. People bleat on about having one structure so that when you have an injury you directly slot in a player from the academy. This is what we've done with Lane, but the fact is he's 19 and inexperienced, probably at least 5-7 years off his peak so the quality of the squad is automatically diluted when he replaces Manu/Mini - no disrespect to him at all. When you have multiple players out obviously this becomes more difficult. I think the plan b scenario is more important when we miss one or more of Shaul/Kelly/Houghton in the spine and try and accommodate Miloudi/Connor/Abdull/Washy there instead, which has been the case a lot this year, but in my opinion  less so in the pack.

As opposed to saying Ellis has contributed nothing so far. #intheknow

You mean calling someone clueless after being yet again attacked on the forum when they were so far off the mark despite being given a bundle of evidence to disprove what they were saying it was actually accurate?
Think you'll find it's you and others who start throwing the abuse and goading when you don't like what's written.
You're a sad act who couldn't wind up a watch, as soon as one enters into a debate about rugby all you can come back with is inane responses, it's your level after-all but pathetic all the same.
You even called me a racist pig, forget that did you!

Of course your team as structures , it as to , and I mean no disrespect to any off the youngsters that come in for the likes of manu etc, but lane running the same lines as mini or manu twenty yards out, just isn't a threat at all , but we just continue to try it over and over again with little effect , yes run the same lines , but why not miss him out and get it in the hands of outside back threats, we just don't try anything different until it's to late and it's just basketball lucky stuff with no structure at all

So you don't throw around abuse but I'm a sad act, pathetic and not forgetting a racist but you're the one under attack?

I seriously believe you have mental health issues.

Having had the honour of being called clueless by bumpy for merely questioning a ridiculous claim that initially had no back up other than his enormous opinion of himself, followed by a deconstruction of his so called evidence I resemble that remark.

And I stuck to rubbishing the weak argument he put forward rather than personal abuse.

Still I think I'm beginning to understand why he rates psychologists so highly - he must have some nice friends who wear white coats.

Bumpy - chillax bro
Don’t take too much to heart
After all it’s a forum of opinions and some of them are off the scale
Mine sometimes for sure lol
There seems to be a lot of anger which is not great in this board of Hull fans who in essence only care for the team and have lively banter on the team and where we are headed and have been
Currently I’m very concerned about FC and really hope we turn the corner and finish 4th somehow

I have lost interest

How long have you been supporting our club for? On a time horizon of the last 30 years the current position we're in to me isn't in the upper quartile of consternation. That's just a personal opinion BTW.

Been a supporter since 1978 but that's irrelevant.
TODAY - I am very concerned that we may well finish 6-8th this season. I don't bask in the past glories and use that to appease today's form.

Do Wigan look back at CC final losses and think oh well we won 9 on the trot ?

I am very concerned with the here and now. I don't want the Club to finish low and have the season fade out. I want the fan base to build and for us to become truly self - financing etc as does AP.

I loved the CC wins - LOVED them. This season we currently don't look like we could defend the Cup based on performances. I truly hope I'm wrong but our defence looks weak and we have little to offer in the attacking stakes, in that we don't look 'electric' with the ball in the red zone.

As I have said there are many different opinions on here and we are a broad church of fans. I'm on one end of the spectrum that's all.
