Great effort by both sides backing up the Easter weekend. Credit to St's, they ran much harder than us and dominated us territorially with a top kicking game. But we made a decent contest of it. No panic just yet.

But Saints know we are not going to score 3 tries in 5 minutes.Too little too late for me

We are now a shadow of a team of the last two years. Weve lost our best front row, best second row and best back all at the same time. Now the spark has gone and we are basically a mid table team again

We need skme of the lower teams to start taking points off the ones above us,but I honestly can't see Catalans, Huddrsfield, Rovers or Widnes beating anybody but the teams around them. We obviously need to start beating the top teams too, but it would just be nice to get a little help from our friends across the river.

I agree we don't look as good but I think that is a bit melodramatic.
One differing factor this season is that we have had our first 17 on the pitch for about 1 game thus far. It seems to have been chop and change every week pretty much. We had a pretty good run of injuries in the past couple of seasons.

No idea how we kept that respectable tbh, out-classed. Fair play to Saints their pace and handling ran us ragged. A few tough calls but we never seriously threatened. We miss Watts so much, genuine line breaking prop with great hands, irreplaceable. Hopefully we make the 8 but Top 4 is gone IMO unless we can get our first choice players out there every week. Hope Talanoa’s not out for too long.
