Salford has never been a happy hunting ground for us to be honest . So I don’t think it’s that much of a shock . These are the scrappy fixtures we always seem to fall short on . In Radfords words there will be plenty for us to fix up for next week .

Not the end of the world We didn’t score in the 2nd half MENTALLY - where are we at ? HUll fans have patience as there’s a way to go But winning the GF ? You have to be a great side for 90% of the season And we’ve had 20% of it already
Awful lot of rugby still to play this year. Salford aren't even a bad team. In my opinion theyre stronger than Widnes, Huddersfield, Catalans and Rovers. So to lose to them when we have arguably our 3 best players missing (plus Paea) isn't the end of the world. We do need to improve quick, but we have some good fixtures coming up now.
We were dominated in the forwards.Didnt do enough first half when we had the wind at our backs and plenty of possession. Again our errors and penalties hand the game to our opponents. We are just not improving our attack in the opposition 20 and dicipline continues to be a big problem

That was awful. Struggling to think of a game in the last couple of years to rival it, maybe the lock in at Widnes one. Of course the absence of many of the pack and Kelly was a factor but still. Last tackle options were just awful - either a bomb or turning it over on halfway. A Middle 8s performance that and with Watts gone and Sika, Houghton, Paea all out we’re in trouble.
