Losing Briscoe we didn't notice because we were so crap in 2014, Talanoa stood out because how poor the rest of the team were.
Westerman improved after leaving Hull but again he was being used as a prop by Radford not his proper role so it's not surprising we didn't miss him that much.
We paid a big wedge of salary for a like for like to replace for Lineham, arguably Lineham is a better defender than Fonua, Fonua a slightly better attacking player though 54 tries in 68 appearances puts Lineham as the best return of tries for any Hull winger in the last 100 years.
ATEOTD it's always difficult, impossible to know/predict how a team would go with or without any given player, even pivotal ones. It is what it is but as others I feel it weakens us enough particularly at a time when we are already short of numbers that it could make the difference between making the 4 and not but it's an opinion like most things on here.
As I said in the M8s thread, we lost 12 games from 30 last year and were 3rd, I reckon things are going to be just as tight with a handful of points covering 4 or 5 teams with possibly one team surging ahead (Saints) like Cas did last year.

Sorry to be a "modabee", but do you think we could possibly let people have their say without the school ground stuff? It's a forum after all. Argue the points if you want.

I believe your talking about a different era. Your essentially not comparing apples with apples here. The squad depth in 2018 is significantly better now and we no longer hinge so greatly on single players. My perception at least. Also, the "team" seem to be a tighter and more professional unit, imo. While losing Watts will have an impact, we have a good level of cover and I personally don't think it's going to make the vast difference some people think it will.
Time will tell I suppose. Although, the problem with this kind of thing is the next game we loose, it will be "If Watts had being on the field..." etc. Truth is we would not know if what happens next would be different with or without Watts. It just is what it is. We move on.

If we lose tonight we cannot blame it in absence of Watts - he is ineligible through suspension!!! Time to move on - lets draw a line under it. Tome to move on, the decision has been made and in my opinion the correct one - No individual is bigger than the Club or TEAM culture/environment, as proven correctly in the past with the departures of Westerman and Lineham. In Radders (and Adam and Gaz) we believe - Onwards and Upwards.

Yet again proving that you only want to see and read what you want to and hate the fact that anyone can have an opinion different to yours, you're just like the rest of those that are the trolls/abusive posters on here, you're a pitiful sad bunch of losers.
I hope we get relegated now tbh, it'll be a wake up call to how much of a second rater Radford is and he'll get kicked to the kerb, I would be so made up!

Nice one.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
